Hi Anna,

Wow, we'd definitely be interested in learning about your research. Hopefully you can also share your research with students and faculty at your university, and encourage them to get involved with the Bushman campaign and with Survival's work generally. It's so important that research not take place in isolation, but be combined with human rights advocacy that can make a real difference in the lives of the Bushmen and other tribal peoples around the world.

Feel free to contact us through Survival - if we can be of any assistance, we'd certainly be happy to help.

The Bushmen want and need the support of friends around the world, and there is great urgency in these coming months to ensure that the Government of Botswana finally respect their human rights and allow them to return home to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, have access to clean drinking water, and be allowed to hunt freely so that they can maintain their physical health and sustain their values and culture.

Thanks for writing!

Thanks Caroline! We hope to have the rest of the blog up in the next few weeks.

One of the best ways to show support is to advocate on behalf of the Bushmen and to educate friends and colleagues about their situation. The Survival website can help you find suggestions on how to get involved.

Writing to the Government of Botswana and urging the full implementation of the Botswana High Court's ruling in favor of the Bushmen's rights to live and hunt in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve can also be an important way to contribute to the realization of their human rights.

HI. I was really interested to read the first installment of your trip as I have been following this case and am currently writing my undergraduate law dissertation on Indigenous land rights with a focus on the Bushmen's case. I too have been hoping to make a trip out there within the next year. I would love to hear more about your trip.
