    Brazil: Kayapó set to fight massive dam project
    27 April 2006 Mebegokre Kayapó Indians have vowed to oppose the building of five dams along the Xingu River in Amazonia. Two hundred Kayapó met recently to discuss the dams, which they fear will have a devastating impact on their land.
