This WTN report from 1992 exposes the massacre of Jumma tribal people
at the hands of Bengali settlers and the Bangladeshi army in the
village of Logang. Such attacks were once frequent; since a peace
agreement was signed in 1997 the level of violence has greatly reduced,
although there are still atrocities committed against the Jummas, and
many army posts remain on Jumma land.
